This interactive web project was produced for Western Kentucky University's student-run newspaper, the College Heights Herald. It explores the history of music in Bowling Green, Ky.
I played a multifaceted role for this project.
First, I was Multimedia Editor. This part of my role required me to gather all photos and video both in the field and through freelancers, produce all four video pieces seen in the project from start to finish and edit the photo content for both the web and print editions of the project.
Second, I played the role of Project Manager by keeping the project moving and on schedule. I made sure to keep weekly team meetings going as well as make schedules for the visual, text and design aspects of the project so that necessary deadlines were met in order to make the project happen.
Overall, I learned how to collaborate with coworkers to make a complex project balance its contents: visuals, text, design, and (for the print edition) advertising.
