Kreable was born and raised just outside the city of Birmingham, Alabama where she spent her childhood training to be a competitive distance swimmer which led her to become a Division I collegiate athlete for Western Kentucky University.
From 2015-2018, Kreable served as the Lead Video Producer at Philmont Scout Ranch, a 140,000 acre high adventure base operated by the Boy Scouts of America. As Lead Video Producer of the marketing department, she coordinated the scripting, pre-planning, shooting and editing of over 30 new videos that promote unique, year-round backpacking programs and learning environments for both participants and staff. Her videos are used across the nation to bring over 23,000 Scouts and Venturers to Philmont each summer, making it the largest youth camp in the world.
From 2011-2015 she attended Western Kentucky University to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism with a Minor in Graphic Design. Throughout her time at WKU, Kreable was able to improve her commitment to large teams and in-depth storylines. Four of the projects she worked on earned recognition at the Hearst Journalism Awards. Her summers were spent working to improve her craft through photo and video positions in Alabama, Michigan, New York and New Mexico.
When she's not shooting photographs or collecting video, you can catch catch her either cooking up something tasty, crocheting a hat, engulfed in a book or planning her next adventurous destination.
Currently, she's located in Grapevine, TX and is available for work. Feel free to contact her about photo/video inquiries or to ask her what’s for dinner.
